SUN Link

I noticed that Red Hot Chilis, Snow Patrol and Metallica (I've said it before, the best live band should play the world's best festival) are playing Rock in Rio, so they are on the festival circuit next year - food for thought

btw does anyone else think that Kings Of Leon, Foos and Kasabian will make for a very boring IOW festival this year!

and my final thought for the evening, after the success of the classic rock slot on the Sunday with Slash and Status Quo, what about a bit of ZZ Top who I understand are going to do some touring next year in support of their new album (produced by Rick Rubin so you know it will be good)

U2, Pulp, Prince would be perfect.

U2, Coldplay and Prince more likely with Pulp subbing U2 is my bet.

Because the sun carried that story earlier this year they are using the same info again rather than them using their journalistic skills. Over all  It saves them printing truthful, up to date, believable news..

U2 Rush Pulp will no me please....yes I know rush will never headline the main stage.... So lop in coldplay then... Or take that.

I dont care either way about Prince or U2 but so long as Jarvis and Pulp are putting in an apperance at some point I will be a very very very happy camper!!  :)

Edit: oh and Daft Punk would be good too!  ;)

Well i'm hoping for a Foo's fest at Glasto, and I'm going to see em at Milton Keynes too!
And i went to V this year and the headliners were Kasabian and kings of leon, I really wanted to go to IoW, but now i might just put it off until 2013.

RHCP will be a dead cert for Leeds imo, they need that rocky type to please the crowd imo after this years travesty in GnR (We got the best deal with Slash :D ).. I'd like someone classic rock type.. would it be too naive to suggest having Roger Waters? Just maybe a little lower? Could you imagine Roger Waters, another band, Pulp and the The Foos!
for once i'd actually be locked on the Pyramid stage!

The travesty of GnR can't compare to the travesty of RHCP at Reading/Leeds in 07.  I certainly wouldn't put them as dead certs after that performance..
