......blinking exciting !!!

Was in Torquay today and on the way back home to Suffolk I took a bit of a detour through Pilton.

How exciting - saw a few signs for fields saying private property etc in Glastonbury font

Toured round village trying to find a vantage point to see the skelington of the pyramid stage but no luck

Was just about to give up when I noticed Worthy Lane - went down there - saw a painted oil barrel and there right ahead was the pyramid stage - couldnt have been more excited.

And what is even sadder is that this forum is the only  place I can say the above and not get the rip taken out of you

Did the same myself a few weeks ago, was bored and had a drive out to Pilton. Was not really sure how far you could venture up the lanes though, did not want to upset any local farmers..

Fascinating that Glastonbury has been a place of pilgrimage for over a thousand years - and it still is today except that now we try to get a glimpse of the pyramid.

I think it's generally accepted that asking permission is a good idea, and not going too close to the farmhouse or bothering the cows, but lots of people visit the farm and I've never heard of any of them being chased by an angry Eavis shouting GET ORF MOI LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND.
