"Glastonbury rumours .... I interviewed Nick from The Coral yesterday.... He confirmed they will be playing! #glasto2011"
Another one to add to the list, just need a couple of hundred more to go...

Oh the person/web site who retweeted it has been hashed out, I guess because they are a rival website don't worry you are not missing anything they aren't anywhere near as good as this one!

Oh and I know someone in The Baghdaddies who played last year, I asked if they were playing again but he said they got booked in January but he hoped they would be asked back again.

Great news. Headline Park would be incredible, would love them anywhere though, but if the weather's the same as this year (WHICH IT WILL BE) Pass It On and the like on Park would be perfect.

Weird. I've had that Dreaming of You tune in my head all day. Saw them on the Other stage a few years back. They werent great actually. Apart from Dreaming of You funnily enough.

John Peel headliners or very high up on the Pyramid, they are too big for the park.
Butterfly House is a very good album!

I agree with JPT but very high up on Pyramid? They're not that big. By very high up I'm assuming you mean fourth or higher.

They played 8th from top on The Other Stage in 2002, 3rd from top on The Other Stage in 2003, 4th from top on The Pyramid Stage in 2005 and 4th from top on The Other Stage in 2007.
Can see them moving up the line-up from those positions these days, or headlining JP as has been suggested in this thread.
edit: typo and added more info

I think they were just pissed off you weren't there again - said they really needed an extremely pissed bloke leaning on the barrier so he didn't fall over to inspire them

Absolutely this.
Terrible live band. I was at Kendal Calling as well and they were so disappointing. Come on, play a few songs, bugger off 10 mins early.
Biggest disappointment of the festival, certainly will be giving them a miss.
