Lil Wayne would be PHENOMENAL. As long as he promised to only rap and stays the f**k away from his guitar. Does Glasto still allow convicts these days?

Does anyone know where we stand with regard to issuing visas to ex-cons? It migt make an appearance less likely if he won't get a visa.

The Nal, on 05 November 2010 - 12:51 PM, said:The UK Border Agency usually opposes the entry to the UK of individuals where they have been found guilty of serious criminal offences abroad. Glitter had to sign the sex offenders register to get back in. I don't think we have a dangerous weapons register - but pretty sure a weapons offence prevents UK entry without individual case home office approval. Is Gary Glitter ok to play? Because he was convicted outside of the UK. Ould Gaz.

Glitter was also a UK citizen so requirements are totally different.
The general benchmark is whether the crime would have attracted a sentence of a year or more in the UK. Without looking it up I suspect Lil Wayne may fall down on these grounds. There is some discretion though so good lawyers might make it happen.

The only other rap act you should check out if you are not a fan of rap other than JayZ
Tha Carter III is one of the best albums I have bought in the last few years.

They let Snoop back in and he's got waaaay more convictions than Dwayne, including weapons charges.

Is his cock not considered a dangerous weapon? I'm sure those poor little Vietnamese kids would vouch for that.
