Just got my tickets for the Saturday night! Anyone else going?
Anyway, I know there are probably threads about this elsewhere, but I also know that they are undoubtedly filled with Naysayers who don't feel that Glasto is a "Foo Fighters Festival".
Well timescale wise it'd be a great choice, as their gigs fall the weekend after Glastonbury, and I see no reason why they couldn't play the festival as a warm-up. Also, they have never ruled out playing. And if bands like MUSE, QOTSA and Eagles of Death Metal have played, why not the Foos?
Keep the negative vibes to a minimum. I know it's unlikely they'll play. But we can dream right?

And of course they've played before, and Grohl gets what Glasto is about.

We can dream. It's just when I dream, I prefer something a little less dull.

Didn't know there was a pre sale...you got a link?
I think Foo's would be an incredible headliner!

tbh i think it is feasible but they are touting the MK Bowl shows as their return, so for them to put on a show before would throw that out of the window. anyway im going on the saturday

Well me and the Mr's ( I always put that as she has no login but reads the forum and I cant imagine a festival or gig without her ) are really hoping the Foo's will be there. If I were a betting man the form says YES as when you look at past headliners they are mostly performing in the week/s post Glasto.
The Foo's were top at the IOW in 2006 and we ( me and the Mr's again ) think they will go down a storm. Fingers crossed.

ive managed to get foo's tickets for saturday aswell... glasto headliner would be a better gig though.....
they will be everywhere in 2011 you can count on it... mk shows probably wont be the only shows... glasto headliners is a real possibility... seen them twice before, but im not sure about seeing them twice in the space of a couple of weeks if they do headline glasto... ill prob sell mk tickets if they headline glasto

dull and boring band. Probably would be a perfect headliner for the majority of glasto goers these days, which says it all.

I got mine for the Saturday just in time before it started to say sold out. Also got through to paying before but an error message came up at the end so it didn't go through. I've seen them 4 times now and they've all been amazing gigs, so I would love it if they were to play at Glasto.
