Paul I think you've jumped the gun here a bit. This definitely deserves its own thread. I think what the OP is trying to point out is that Daft Punk played live last night as suprise guests at a Phoenix gig. Gives me goosebumps even watching it;

Was gutted had to run from Phoenix two songs in to see Snoop Dogg.
Made the decision I'd probably never go to a Snoop Dogg gig or if I did it would not be as a festival appearance, plus guessed that Phoenix in their own gig would be better than at Glasto (well at least on a daytime slot on the Other Stage).
Mate who stayed confirmed that they were good, but it wasn't that good as crowd were poor
I'm just hoping the tour comes back to the UK on route.....

Here's a better quality version of a different part of the concert if anybody is interested...
Yeaah they were probably the best band i saw at this years glastonbury, I'd love to see them of a night time with a bigger audience, they've definately got the talent and live show to pull it off well...and daft punk need no introduction haha It'd be a dream to see them live...i would even say they should/could headline the pyramid stage

Now I don't have the first clue as to who Phoenix are but coooooeeeeeee that mix of guitar with the kings of french electro is something really rather special and a very nice direction indeed. Please book them Mr Eavis, you know its makes sense.

French Alternative band who both of Daft Punk were in the original line up for a very short time. They played The Other Stage at Glasto this yeatr and they were amazing.

This definitely throws a window open, amazing to think of the possibility of them being on the Other Stage
..this opens up the possibility of them touring again and alongside the release of Tron Legacy on boxing day makes for some good publicity toward getting them booked for Glasto '11!
