Hi all just after some advice
right just passed my driving test and was talking with my gf about getting the coach but now thinking about driving.
we will coming from portsmouth and the coach is 92 pounds we think the car including parking pass would be about 75 pounds not much of a saving but prob be easier and quicker. ( plus i want a cool parking sticker lol)
any advice on what more experianced people think would be great
thanks

Have you thought about a lift share of some shape or form? That's what we did this year, got a seat on a minibus and it worked out at half the price of using National Express coaches, much more fun as well

I think you will find it a lot cheaper than £75.
Parking is £20 and unless you have a gas guzzler, I don't you will spend £55 on petrol

I've been by train and camper van. Train is cheap as will be the coach but it is a ball ache having to carry all your kit and on national express I am sure you are limited to the amount of stuff you can take.
With a car you can obviously take more stuff but it means carrying it from car park to tent but you can leave some stuff in car and collect later.
Personally I would go for the car option.

Car has added benefits. You can stash some clean dry clothes in it so that if the weather goes south then you can at least travel home in relative comfort.
And more importantly you can bring more booze, thus saving you money inside the festival.
