After Billy Bragg made a surprise apperance with Kate Nash last night, He took time after the Gig to talk (half an hour to be honest). After a long politics talk we discussed Glastonbury! Its actually got me so excited! Billy will be back down there this year but wouldnt give anything away! But honestly, What a lovely man he is and it really got to me when we were the only folk singing along and going mental for Billy bragg! (He actually asked if we were the folk in the center who were reacting to him). haha

We practically lived in the Leftfield this year, thought it was excellent. Were camped next to it and even managed to have a quick word with Billy on the Monday morning, great guy! Really glad he'll be there next year

Agreed. It wouldn't be Glastonbury without Sir Billy of Bragg.

Hi, didn't know it was on as I've been out of the loop gig-wise recently but I'm very tempted now you've pointed it out. Day before my birthday which seems as good a reason as any!

Billy is one of the reasons I want to go to Glastonbury.  Have had to promise my Glasto mate (my son) that we won't spend all our time in the Leftfield tent...just quite a bit of it.

I've seen Billy on tour a few times, at Glastonbury twice, and on the Red Wedge Tour (now that's going back a bit)and it is so heartening to hear someone talking such sense, as well as playing such belting tracks.

Good to hear that he will definitely be there next summer.

Now just the small matter of securing 2 tickets.

Billy Bragg is brilliant. It's always a highlight to see him at Glasto. And yeah, the new Left Field venue was awesome this year. Frank Turner followed by Billy was epic.

I thought his set at the Leftfield this year on the Saturday was the best I'd seen him play for years and years, he seems fired up and full of energy and anger again. It was great to see.

This.

I think he has been treading water a bit of late but that performance was immense. I think there was definitely something in the air in that tent this year, as there were several other storming performances. The Reverend's set, for me, is probably one of the top three gigs i've ever seen.

Loved the Paul Heaton/Billy Bragg cover of White Man in Hammersmith Palais at the end of Heaton's set.

Loads and loads of great stuff at the Leftfield including some brilliant new acts

Jonny Neesom was awesome, his 'I wanna f**k your girlfriend' is definitely NSFW but great

My link

Leon Walker is also superb

Both of them are part of the Jail Guitar Doors project.

Also Grace Petrie was brilliant, can't find much online, but here's one
