I probably wouldn't go without music, as has been said many times already it's the main driving force of the weekend. That said, if we're at a loss as to where to go, we tend to head towards the caberet tent for the comedy and variety acts - whether we actually make it there is another thing though as more often than not we get distracted by something random happening - It was how we discovered the brilliant Mariachi El Bronx on West Holts this year.

Absolutely. It would be odd but there's just so much to see and do, there's not a chance I'd be bored.

As long as my mates still came along and the place kept its atmosphere then I'd happily go if there wasn't any music. Glastonbury is really just an excuse to spend 6 days with my mates in a place where anything goes.

What a bizarre thread. Slow day at the office?
If Eavis was charging £400 a ticket I'd tell him to put it where the sun doesn't shine and then I would just go and sit in a field for four days.

I think I probably would still go actually, although I'd expect a discount ;-)

as long as there are other forms of entertainment i'd still go although probably not pay £200. No entertainment at all...no, lovely field but to many people for a camping holiday

YES! I could do without the pyramid etc and the rabble that comes with....
seem to be spending more time in the greenfields / sc and less time at the stages every year....

NO WAY.....As much as i find some of the other things going on interesting,i would be bored stiff if there was no music...although there is the beer which helps.....but to much of that is not a good thing...

Bradders, on 15 October 2010 - 11:11 PM, said:Yes, it would still be great but not as amazing as it is with the great bands included. However, I do get annoyed by people bragging about how few bands they watch at Glastonbury, like it's some sort of badge of honour.
It is a badge of honour !
My partner came for the first time this year , and loved the fact that she missed loads of bands cos there were other interesting things on. Dancing in front of a huge pineapple on a Sunday afternoon being one of them !

You're so wacky. I think looking back on my life I'll have been quite pleased with my choice of watching Ray Davies over a Pineapple
