Just noticed this on the traders application form.

Quote

Again we are asking food traders to identify in their application a product which will be their 'best buy'. This is not necessarily the cheapest item on the menu, although it may well be, but it could be a quality plated meal, or a particularly large portion size, which are great value for money. We will promote "best buy" on our website ask you to identify on your menu boards which is your 'best buy'.
Again? I'm sure I didn't see a best buy on a stall anywhere this year.

It's the 50p, cup of tea that wins for me.

I remember that place. At the time I was amazed when at about 4am having stumbled out of the bad lands (I think, it was round that way anyway) by accident and found the little tent. I gave the guy £3 and in exchange received a cup of tea and generous sized piece of cake for both myself and the other half plus some change! We took some time out to gather thoughts by the campfire, shot some sambucca down and were back on our way to the insanity until sunrise!

The drunken journey from madness, to relative tranquillity and back again within only a few meters of each other was surreal.

The taco meal from the Tor Rugby stall was the best value that I found this year.

Can't remember the price, but it was comparitively cheap, filling and delicious.

I had a fajita meal from there with nachos and salsa for £4.50 and it was £5 if you wanted a can of pop with it too

That sounds about right, actually.

I'll be checking that place out again next year.
