Right...as the final hour of this day closes I can safely shamefully say I have been attached to my laptop since 9am this morning hammering the f5 button and then pretty much spending the following 14 or so hours pressing f5 on these ere forums to read all the updates about how it went for everyone.
It's been a bloody good, hard and long day as T Day always is. Some have been lucky, many have not but all in all, it was just great to see the effort put in by so many for this week in a field in Somerset.
For me personally it was all about the camaraderie that has resulted from this forum's existence.
See the lucky ones in 9 months and hopefully, very hopefully see the unlucky ones too...as there will be the re-sale and the crack team of Efesters out in force again!
Keep your ears to the ground folks. Good luck.

This is my day exactly and I'm now looking out for tix for a friend who "had to go out" after a couple of hours trying her hardest. Not sure she deserves to go really but I'll keep looking. Do you think there have been far more unlucky folk this year due to increased numbers wanting tickets?

about 3 hours trying for tickets, then spent the next couple of hours being over-excited, then had to crack on with an essay, sadly!

Spent all 4 hours from 9.00am right up to when they were sold out hitting F5.
Should be getting an A for effort at least, eh?

All available time. Trying everything. A for effort also.
So, how can I join this crack team of efesters ticket commandos?

Got back from work abou 6:30, got all nervous for a few hours and ended up sorting tickets at 9:00 on the dot, then spent the next 3 hours helping out others.
Had to tear my self away from the forums to get some sleep before work

and to answer the question, yeah pretty much all day has been consumed by the big G, from waking up (late) this morning to glastobating furiously in the pub tonight

got in from work about 0720, logged on to ticket page 0851, booked by 0916 and email confirmation at 0930 so all in all about 40 mins

About an hour getting tickets. 10 minutes ringing my 2 mates to let them know it was sorted, then about and hour or so on here later on after it had calmed down a bit, so just over 2 hours. From what I read, I got off lightly.

855am>1030am buying my tickets, and then helping a friend buy his.
1030am> 1045am shower, etc
1045am>midnight reading eFestivals and enjoying T-Day!
This included the good (people celebrating), the bad (people who sadly missed out) and the ugly (some hideou, furious facebook messages)
Overall - a genius day!!

was at the computer from 6am, bookmarking links, collating all the reg/money info on the back of a handy used envelope and spring cleaning my old machine so it ran at its best. it took an hour and a half of f5 bashing to get my group of four's tickets, then i helped our extended group - some of whom have been the ones to get me tickets in the past. once the mates were done i moved onto any stranger willing to trust me with their bank details. i was in the middle of booking for the last person with any vague social connection to me who needed a ticket when it sold out. i hate a job going unfinished so i'll be keeping an eye out for him in the next couple of weeks, then i'm done with seetickets for a good long while. i spent the rest of the day sorting out confirmation emails being forwarded to the right people - in the pandemonium, people were forgetting to give me email and phone info - and browsing here. i reckon that was maybe a 12 hour glasto shift. frustrating, swear-strewn, but rewarding.

Not too many, so far. Started at 8.20am, had to give up on the home PC at 11.30, as I was going to a football match. Got tickets using iphone during the bus ride into town, so probably only an additional 10 minutes.
Obviously this means that tent shopping, and efestival forum reading will take up a couple of days between now and June. Then another few days listening to music by Bands I've never heard of before. The only 5 day holiday that takes up 2-3 weeks of my life. Its all good.

3 hours for me but got there in the end. Nearly sent me into early labour though, I was done in 10 mins last year and stupidly thought it would be that easy every year!!

Luckily (
) T-day coincided with server patch day at work. I spent the morning with one screen up for booking tickets and one screen applying the patches via remote desktop. Superfast access at work that is non contended may have helped me but I managed to seccure our 6 tix and tickets for about 30 others all while working and getting paid. Bonus..
Started at 9am and finished around 12pm. My wife was trying at home which is just down the road from my work and never got a sniff of a page.

We were able to leave the house & get on with the day at 12.45pm – for which i will admit i was in the weirdest of moods!

Glad I'm not the only one!
I spent about 2 and a half hours getting tickets then remained inexplicably glued on rotation between here and facebook until 7pm!
I felt completely drained by the end of the day.

spent 2 hours in a hotel room in brecon hammering away with no joy....then had to check out so went to morrisons cafe and carried on with mobile broadband....friend called at 1200 to say he had a booking page so he got them for us....cue impromptu celebrations and some startled old ladies

I'll include the night out I sacrificed so that I could be fresh for Sunday Morning - 5 hours there.
I'll also add the free ticket and travel down to watch NUFC play at Man City which I turned down as it interfered with ticket puchasing which would be 8 hours plus £60 (though we're not quantifying cash).
Spent 1.5 hours from 7 till 8.30 charging phones, setting up laptops, getting friends up, co-ordinating registrations and bank details.
Gave up around 1.35, so just over 5 hours there.
Spent about 2 hours torturing myself on this site and (even worse) the Facebook posts by arseholes who'd got tickets.
