my friend was told over the phone this morning by a seetickets employee that the 2008 registrations have expired - despite the online checker (and, according to neil, the seetickets bigwigs) saying the opposite.

surely there's no reason for seetickets staff to be so misinformed! and it's pretty stressful for people to be told this now that registration has closed. glasto's the biggest and best festival in the world, so why are they dealing with such a shambles of a ticketing company?

I registered in '08, mine seems to be fine. I have to register for '13 obviously. Do they have their postcode that they registered with?

I thought ticket registration was valid for 3 years - which would make it invalid for 2011 registration but doesn't explain why it was ok on the online checker...

I registered in '08 for the 2009 festival. So that does me till July 2011, according to See.

if the registration checker says your registration is active, then it IS active.

This has been told to me by both the boss at See Tickets, and the guy at Glastonbury who is responsible for ticketing.

My friend registered on Thursday night and forwarded the successful email to me with the details (including his reg number), so I've put it into the online checker and it can't find him, I've double checked I've entered his name and postcode correctly - is this just because it's not updated yet?

Edit: The numpty put his postcode in incorrectly, so he is registered but I have to remember to input the incorrect postcode.
