I was so close to seeing Minus The Bear instead as I am a huge fan but resisted the temptation as I've been waiting to see Weezer for years. Confident that I made the right decision :)

ahhh yeah my freinds wanted to see them, as well as Band Of Horses.... But we are both HUGE Weezer fans. So we just couldn't miss it. Glad you had a good time :)

Somebody else saw Atari Teenage Riot! Can't believe they didn't have a bigger crowd... I enjoyed it sooooo much  :)

Even with the lacking crowd i'm still surprised how the f**k the tent stay up. They were incredible. The crowd size did seem to grow throughout though. Almost like people were saying "what the f**k is that noise... lets get in there"... they were brilliant though.

Reading

1) Blink 182
Put it this way: Musicianship was poor, the sound was even more dreadful. But the crowd atmosphere, singing along to every single word, the energy they had, how loud we were, seeing banter between Tom and Mark, and just seeing your favourite childhood band did it for me. Definitely worth missing the Klaxons for.

2) Arcade Fire
Don't understand why everybody was slating them about not being worthy to headline or having the smallest crowd. Completely blew me away with their set, brilliant songs, everybody singing to the intro to Wake Up, absolutely brilliant.

3) Queens of the Stone Age
Josh Homme was so high! More or less a greatest hits setlist, haven't listened to them much before I saw them, but I really enjoyed it.

4) Two Door Cinema Club
As the frontman puts it, "Thank you Reading for giving us the best experience we ever had."

5) The Libertines
Was very up to go see them, but slightly disappointed to be honest. The surge in the crowd was unbearable, but nevertheless, put on an awesome show. Big gamble, did it pay off? I would say so.

6) Weezer
Most surprising act of the weekend for me, the frontman was mad! Loved it.

7) Phoenix
Brilliant atmosphere in the tent, put on a great live show, one of the best critically acclaimed bands around at the moment. In personal opinion, if they had another album, would have headlined instead of LCD.

8) Limp Bizkit
Another surprising one, Fred Durst is not a dick as much as he used to be, very much enjoyed the hits.

9) Lostprophets
Not on form like they usually are, setlist didn't include any old favourites, but crowd made it for me.

10) Delphic
Great musicianship again, really good in the tent. Though the crowd being full of chavs was a bit disappointing.

Leeds:

1 - The Libertines - Just because, and they did put on a great show In my opinion. Singing along to the classics, just brilliant.

2 - Limp Bizkit - Performed top notch, couldn't help but move while listening to them and Wes' costume was quite something.

3 - Arcade Fire - The parts I did see were superb, really put on a great show.

4 - Cypress Hill - JULIO JULIO JULIO JULIO JULIO !

5 - Magnetic Man - Usually try and stay away from the Dance Tent but them three were excellent.

6 - Delphic - Real bouncy show.  :D

7 - Weezer - Just great.

8 - Klaxons - Saw the second half of their gig and they were genius. Real lively and looked like they wanted to be there.

9 - Dizzee - Similar reason for Klaxons, really looked to be enjoying it and wanted to be there.

10 - Blink - Thought they did well, thought they tried their best to motivate the crowd. But the sound was poor as well as the crowd, and I think Limp had shown them up earlier.

2. Blink 182 - Got to jump around and sing like I was 14 for an hour and a half, cant beat it
3. Arcade Fire - Brilliant show, they all put everything into the performance
4. Weezer - Rivers was the best front man all weekend and the rest of the band were on form. I was blown away by them and the wheatus cover was a great touch
5. Frank Turner - Great crowd, franks a top fella and new songs sounded good (no ballad of me and my friends though :()
6. Mumford - Energetic crowd, loved it
7. Limp Bizkit - they got all the hits and more to fulfill their slot
8. Gogol Bordello - Much love for gypsy punk
9. Cypress Hill - Not as good as when I saw them headline boardmasters last year but theres always a good time for some stoner hip hop
10. LCD Soundsystem - didnt really know much of their stuff but they put on a solid performance

Arcade Fire
Blink
GNR
QOTSA
Weezer
Were the ones that really shone for me

Biffy Clyro
Cypress Hill
Limp Bizkit
The Libertines
Were also very good.

Paramore were slightly disappointing (short set, Mic was very low) and so was Dizzee (short set again and was involved in a bottleneck between the speakers and the tower, not nice)
