Was hoping for something today. Any of the more local Bella goers heard anything ?

Aye, I had hoped for something today. No rumblings from the Bella FB/Twitter since 1st April...

Doubt they would announce around the same time as Rockness... I know they aren't in direct competition but geographically they are very close so will probably hold off till next week at earliest.

View are at T so doubt they'll be at Bella.
My guess is Texas for one of the headliners

Definetly the Charlatans

Thought that a few weeks back but since then there's rumours of a festival in Aberdeen the week before and Charlatans have been mentioned for that. Maybe they'll play both but was thinking of the restrictions on contracts.
If Aberdeen one comes off, might do that instead of Bella depending on line ups

Might do Bella for this first time this year.
Will be keenly checking out the announcement tomorrow.

Headliners - not impressed. At all.
Happy with Newton Faulkner (ish) and very happy with Admiral Fallow, Frank Turner and Skerryvore. Need to acquaint myself with some of the others but those headliners are shocking IMO.

According to their Facebook Page Echo and the Bunnymen are playing Belladrum. They are also playing Wickerman - if their line up is as good as rumoured (ie Franz Ferdinand) may go there instead.

Bunnymen were awful last time they played Bella. Complete hit or miss live

Shame that Belladrum and Wickerman have had to resort to booking older bands for both headline slots at each festival this year. It's usually one night and then the other night there is a more current/relevant act.
