Can anyone explain the mentality of the stewards closing access to to the arena on sat and sun just before midday even though people can walk in freely throughout the morning.  It just causes a massive bottleneck of thousands of people crammed and pushing.  All it achieves is people not getting into arena in time to see first bands on and has the potential to cause crushing and injuries from thousands of p*ssed off people!!!!

Why on earth do they do this, why not just keep the gates open all day it's not rocket science!!!!!!!!!

Oh and on the way out on Sun night one of the stewards was using a megaphone directing people to use gates 23,24 and 25 then when you get to gate 23 there's a line of stewards stopping everyone  and re-directing them through the other gates causing yet more bottlenecking!!

Jesus, don't these stewards undergo any form of crowd control training whatsoever??  It beggers belief the stupidity of their actions.  The sh*t will hit the fan if someone suffers a serious injury as a result of stupid marshalling decisions!

Agree wholeheartedly. It seems theyre more worried about stopping a few people taking alcohol into the arena than actually marshalling. The crush at one point looked awful, and as you say people will miss bands they want to see and have paid a kings ransom for that privilege.
Also most of them had obviously missed out on their charm training, instead opting for the sense of humour bypass. I have to say Sunday seemed worse than Saturday for the amount of searches and pissed off stewards

As everyone knows " there are all kind of people - there are kind of unexpected reactions"

The lads in our group all had their bollocks felt by the stewards, they felt between their legs and actually grabbed their bollocks, now the boys in our camp probably loved it and it made way for me to walk through with 3 litres of wine strapped to my chest but how they did not suss that I am clearly not a double FF bra beggers beleif
