Hi all,

Hope you've all had a good festival? Ours was good, not the best V we've been to though. I don't think the atmosphere was anything like previous years. Seemed like people wanted to spoil everyone's fun, people didn't seem as friendly compared to the last 5 years.

Don't get me wrong - we met some funny people and managed to have some banter with a few people, but some people seemed to have a chip on the shoulders and come across like they were to good for you.

I suppose it didn't help that we had a group of knob heads camped behind us who thought it would be funny to tip a bag full of rubbish and piss over one of the girls in our group. This didn't go down to well with our group and nearly ended up in a brawl.
This happened on the Sunday morning.

on the Saturday night we had our camera pinched from our tent while we were sat outside it. This happened around 1.30am. The cheeky c**t's used the "back door" to our tent. We were camped in the blue camp-site. They also took the wash bag but dumped this along with the camera case.

It's a long shot but if anyone found black Nikon coolpix s3000 camera this could possibly be mine.

How did V go for you what experiences did you have?

you were probably camped near me and my friends. We had a group of idiots who set fire to their tent on monday morning, and after I pulled my tent down, i put it in the bag and left it in my friends' tent while we did the first trip to the car (its a long walk from Blue to South carpark with all that stuff) and when I got back it had gone along with my 2 chairs! My chairs had ended up at someone elses pitch (who were very genuine and said they went to get a drink and came back and they'd been dumped). I spoke to one of the security dudes and he said none of them would have taken it.

My friend had her handbag stolen from the Nissan Duke arena on Friday night and it had in it around £160, her bank card, blackberry and ipod. The following day she got back the bag with her blackberry (that wouldn't work due to the screen being smashed) and bank card (which she'd cancelled after going missing). She still lost all her money and ipod though and I hate these people who go to festivals set out to rob people and ruin their weekends. They don't deserve to live.

tbh as bad as somebody robbing you is, having £160 in cash and an ipod just in a handbag aint the most sensible of things to do at a festival.  I never had more than £40 in cash on me and that was well buttoned up in my cargo shorts, not in a bag or purse/wallet somebody could lift.  The cash machines were easily accessible if more cash was needed and why on earth bring an ipod to a music festival?

Youve got to take the minimum with you to a festival and deffo nothing valuable!!

Yeah the atmosphere just wasnt there this year was it.....I lost my mobile (due to my own stupid fault), you can call Wolverhampton Civic Hall and leave all your details as they deal with the lost property and they will contact you if they have it - its a long shot but worth a try!
