I got the train to Stafford from Chester, got there at about 7.30. We managed to get on the second shuttle bus, we hit a little bit of traffic but V have sealed off a shortcut road for the shuttle buses so we just cut straight through there and only took about 20 minutes from the station to V, including traffic for a broken down car, and they dropped us off about 10 minutes walk away from where I was camping (Blue). On the Monday we got the bus back at about 7.30, just went straight back to the station with no traffic at all.

I think I might invest in a trolley and get the train next year!

This year was the worse I had ever known for the traffic, we set of very very early as usual and usually just get stuck on the A5, this year they had shut the A5 and sent us back dwon to the M54 and, it took us around 6 hours.
We also usually stay on samp until around 2pm and take our time, this year the marshalls we adament that we were all off my 12pm, the bull dozers were all st at the gate waiting to bull doze everything down, did not get home until 6pm, boooo

I guess that's why that despite the brilliant line up , I really could not be bothered with V this year, there used to be 10 of us , then it dwindled to 3 then I last went in 08 on my own. Always managed to avoid the jams. but may not have been so lucky this year.
