you can take as much booze as you like aslong as you dont take any glass bottles. just put it all in empty plastic bottles. but you cant take it in the arena, only the campsite.
the prices wernt too bad... they have deals on tuborg etc
theres a shuttle bus to tesco if you need stuff they dont have or find it too dear

ahh right thanks, so you can take alcohol in but not to actual place itself? is there plenty of bars in there then?

To the campsite, but at the entrance to the arena they will take it off you. But yes there are bars inside the arena.

Don't believe all you hear about Leeds, I've been to nearly everyone and it's tame now compared to what it used to be.
The supermarket onsite sells everything for it's regular retail price so not too bad, best time to go is late night/early morning as there'll be no queues.

How big is the supermarket, Rex? Does it just sell essentials or can you pick up any random crap in it?

There was me thinking it'd be a place where they sold nothing but lilo's, fags and coke cans. I don't really need to take anything with me, it seems. Mind you, the queues will be a f**king nightmare, won't they?
To be fair I've got most of the stuff in their stocklist so I don't really need to go to the supermarket but I guess it's always hand to know it's there.

Its 24 hours so late at night and early morning are fine, but at half 10 they get massive queues because they start selling booze at 11.
I'd love to know why they are selling corkscrews, can you get plastic wine bottles?

watch out though, last year me n my mate bought deoderant and shaving gel over 100ml (assuming it was fine since they were selling it) and it got confiscated when our tent got searched!!
