My phone battery has a very poor life span, 2 days at the most
Does anyone know how i can charge my phone around the site without getting a locker?

You could invest in a solar charger.

I bought a little adapter that takes 1 AA battery, and charges phones/ipods, etc. about £2 on eBay. Posted Image

Not sure there is a way. I just had to keep my phone off last year. Spare battery?

You can get spare batteries off eBay for a couple of quid. Buy 2 of them and you'll be fine. If you order today you should have them in time.

I got a solar charger off ebay and it's hopeless, transfers charge for about 20 mins for each few hours of sunshine. The spare battery is the way to go (or turn your phone off for a few hours each day and at nigh)

Make sure it's a genuine one as I got a spare camera battery off of ebay and the charge lasts about 30 mins...

I'm guessing for a £2/3 they're not genuine. However, mine are fine.

M&S do a nifty device that's basically just a portable charger that you shove batteries into it. I got one - not for my phone but for my MP3 player which charges on USB, and from 0% battery to 100% battery it took 10 minutes with lithium energizers. It's brilliant!

Energizer do portable ones that are mobile specific too so it might be wise to just go on eBay and type in 'energizer samsung phone charger' or something (obviously change the name of the phone to whatever yours is). They're pretty good if you get the right ones.

There is a charge point in the arena where you pay so much for a 2 hour charge. I don't know how much it is exactly because I've never used it. Be prepared for queues if you do that though. People seemed to be waiting for over an hour last year. Also, they didn't have the facility to charge iPhones last year, so that could be a problem. Depending on what phone you have, spare batteries from eBay are probably the way to go.

For that do you have to bring the phone charger? And i've looked on ebay, the only batteries they have for my phone cost £8 and will be shipped from hong kong so won't get here in time! looks like i might have to just use my phone very sparingly.

Nope, they provided the chargers, hence the reason iPhone charging wasn't available. Might be best to take yours along just in case though. Like I said, I never actually used the facility...I just saw it. It was located in the stalls near the arena entrance, just across from the alternative stage last year

This. There's various phone charging points across the site (Leeds). There's at least one towards the bottom of Orange Hill.
