Make that 5 quality albums. The self titled album is a brilliant record

I won tickets to see mumford at the roundhouse and couldn't go.
Tickets for Mumford then sold out in 30mins for Bristol in Ocotober.
So I'm definatly watching them over Queens. Their preformance at Glasto looked amazing.
It gonna be one hell of a Hoe-down.

Well it looks like the QOTSA crowd won't be huge. Better for me, can get a better place to watch the first hour of GnR.  B)

I'm gonna have to leave Adam Green early to go watch Mumford, which is annoying and I'd love to see Blood Red Shoes... May be able to catch the end of their set.
Saw Mumford & Sons at Manchester Academy at the start of the year, wasn't sure what to expect really but was completely and utterly blown away. Incredible!
To the person who said they won't be around for much longer I'd like to think you are wrong, they're incredibly talented and I can't imagine them or their fanbase giving up any time soon.

Anyway, people should try and watch Adam Green for at least a short while, he is insane!

Seen Mumford twice, first time never heard of them supporting the maccabees at the electric ballroom, blew me away. Second time was at their new years show at the forum, not as good by any means even though I knew the songs. However, i shall be there for the third time, partly as i'm watching phoenix and LCD.

i think i'm going to give QOTSA another chance.... they were okay in Leeds in '08 crowd went wild when they opened with "No One Knows", one of the roughest crowds i've seen for a mainstage band, however it did get a bit boring towards the end. heres to hoping that they'll be better this year. plus i want a good spot for GnR.

I'm really struggling withthis decision! Not a huge fan of Queens, but would quite like to see them going on their live reputation (excluding 2008 where by all accounts they were pretty dull). My friends are all going to see Mumford so I could just tag along with them, no doubt enjoy the company even if I'm not that keen on the music! I'm not usually too fussed about goin to see the bands I like myself, but I'll be seeing Alkaline Trio on my Todd straight after so not keen on wandering about myself for the last 2 hours!

I suppose my question is, will queens be worth the loneliness? Haha

I hate threads like these because it never occurs to the op that they can see bands outside of festivals too.

I was thinking the same thing, the real clash is Against Me! vs. QOTSA, and Against Me! win.

would the fr tent be absoloutley rammed by this time as it's only small?
Same, I love them but I love QOTSA just a tiny bit more. I'm hoping there will be room at the back!

QOTSA problem at Leeds a few years back was that they had been on a 24 hour session before hitting the stage, Josh Homme does not like Axl Rose and will be pulling out all the stops to put out a great performance.

As for Mumford and Sons, I saw the last two songs at Glastonbury as I waited for thousands of people to leave the tent before the Black Keys came on - they sounded really really boring to me (the new fad seems to be if you play your instruments very hard but very badly then it is really good music?) and I would rather go shopping in M & S on a Saturday afternoon and I hate shopping.

Of course! I was referring to Era Vulgaris. I don't think it's that good.

If the clashfinder is accurate I'll be checking them out between Adam Green and Phoenix.

I Don't know too much about them, but what I've heard I like.
