Despite efests suspecting that kylie and radiohead have been booked, they've been removed from the rumours page. We haven't seen sources at all, before or after them being added. What do we think?

I think Neil knows something we dont know

I have good reason to believe that they're not one of the two headliners that have been booked so far.
As we know u2 have been asked to be the 3rd headliner then it seems to be the case that Radiohead won't be there, as they would most likely headline.

Neil, to your knowledge, have they been completely ruled out or is it just unlikely that they're one of the bands booked? So perhaps, if U2 don't accept the invitation, could they be the 3rd headliner?

I thought they'd be nailed on. Either them or Coldplay...

I'm guessing from the rumours so far that the two booked artists are Coldplay and Prince.

I've got a feelin Kasabian will fill one of the headliners next year. They have a new album out at the end of the year and considering that they have played second fiddle to the likes of artic monkeys and springsteen in past years maybe Eavis will finally give them the slot they deserve.

I think if they are ever going to headline it would be after the fallow year.
As for U2, do we reckon they'll accept the offer?

I was certain it was going to be them, and the new album (probably) isn't going to be out till 2011. Oh well, on the positive side at least I saw the Thom and Jonny set this year.
They tend to only do one UK festival at the end of each album and I'd have thought Glasto would be their first choice seeing as the Eavises love them, you can't match the reception they get from a Glasto crowd, the band love the festival and they haven't played since 03 (full band).

But U2 are bigger than Radiohead (personally I wouldn't say better but your average casual music fan would know more U2 songs than Radiohead songs) and they're both fans of each other's music so I'm sure they wouldn't mind at all. (I know, I'm just getting my own hopes up now)
I don't really understand the Coldplay thing, everyone talks in terms of credibility when someone like Lady Gaga is rumored but I always got the impression that Coldplay were seen as dull and a very uncool band to like, (easy listening, radio 2 sort of stuff) with 0 credibility.

Oh for the love of God, I really didn't think they would be there next year
