right, just after a bit of help/advice.
we're setting off around 7am friday morning, shall be there for campsite opening etc (with any luck)
anyway, one of our mates is getting a coach from birmingham, as that was the only way he could get a gaurenteed ticket at face value when they went on sale. anyway, his coach leaves birmingham at 2pm. so he will not be there until 5pm maybe, and by then i would imagine that the campsite we are on (getting there for 12) will be full, but we are putting his tent up for him, thus saving him a space. SO. the question is, will he be allowed onto our campsite ? and will he be given a wristband just for one campsite meaning he may not be able to camp with us ?
thanks in advance.

No need to worry, he'll be allowed into any of the campsites as there is only one camping wristband type and the stewards will allow him through as his tent will already be put up.

Depends where you camp! I'd say if your tent was the furthest away, it would be about 20-25 mins - but usually it's about 10/15 mins - so take a beer for the road!

Depends where you camp, the main campsites (blue, red, yellow, orange) are 5-10 mins max then the others are further,

It might be so it's more organised, at Weston to find an empty campsite you have to walk into each one, at hylands If you have a blue camping spot you know their will be a space somewhere

this is quite random but it's the most recent and relevent forum for a quick question
. I'm camping for the first time, should I expect any animals like rats, mice and spiders around the campsite, I'm terrified of rats so I would be really grateful for a warning in advance

never seen any rat/mice at a festival! though you may see one or two of those tiny spiders depending on the weather and which campsite you end up in.

well you are outside so spiders/wasps/insects are to be expected. Mice/rats etc no... this will be my 11th year camping and depending on the weather it will either be more spiders or more bees/wasps
