good lord i cant believe that I am even writing this already but was trying to guesstimate when the 2011 tickets will
be going on-sale, especially as it seems like we have only just got back form this years festy

I just cannot remember when they went on-sale last year but am fairly sure it was in october

Well this year I shall be trapsing around the indian subcontinent in october and some of november and want to know when
people think ticket will be on-sale

My guess is the first Sunday in October - but that's only a guess.

Last year they went on sale on Sunday 4th October, supporting Neil's guess, I've seen other sites also suggesting Sunday October 3rd this year.

Yes, the last couple of years it has been the first Sunday in October, so I would imagine it will be again.

My savings pot is currently at £120, pretty pleased with that.  Have to buy 3 tickets, determined to have saved the money in time for the first date this year, having had to scrabble round at the last minute the last few years.

My savings pot is at £1.19 but in the pot there is also some red fluff, an oddly shaped button and a match stick.

Please Mr Eavis, take pity on me....

Hi guys, we're looking at doing Glasto for the first time in 2011 (been holding off for a few yrs & now glad friends have got the Glasto bug too!). Quick q in relation to ticket purchase day, is it correct that a deposit can be paid on the day then the remainder by a certain date afterwards? Cheers for any help!

About £50 deposit at the beginning of October and say the remaining £150 by the end February. You can't pay the balance in dribs and drabs though

This is a bit of a nightmare. All our group are at a wedding on saturday 2nd. The sunday morning will be horrendous if i have to get home before 9 to start trying to get tickets!

Can't believe its nearly ticket day again already. Can't afford to lose even more hair again. Reckon it'll be a 'sold out in an hour' situation again.

The voice of optimism there Pinhead!!

Do totally agree though. But think the allocation will go after 2 - 2 1/2 hours.....bet?

yep, that plus the fact that everyone is going to be thinking that U2 are defo playing too. Ticket day is likely to be far worse than last time. :(
