We are going down on the Wednesday, and we've booked a national express. But it doesn't drop us off at the actual festival itself, but it drops us off at a place called Reading Calcot. Does anyone know how far it is to the festival site? If so, which would be the best way of transport?

Its out right by the M4 by the big sainsburys.

Good news is you can buy all your beer etc there, so you dont need to cart it with you on the bus.

Bad news is its not walkable even without tonnes of stuff. You'll need to arrange a cab. Its about a 8-10 min drive in normal traffic, which on the weds should be fine. You can be dropped around the back right by the Yellow/ Orange camps, or at least you could in the old days. It may be different on the weds though.
