I sleep in 'normal' pyjamas.  Rather than add layers to wear I have a decent double sleeping bag with a liner and three blankets to go on top if it's cold.

Ha Ha !

I always sleep in my birthday suite , if its cold , just think "its a bit cold ! " then go back to
sleep , its amazing how long , long  days and drinking from early morning help you sleep.

For 90% of the day I wore just shorts, socks and trainers.  At night I went commmando as I had an awesome sleeping bag.

I was just glad a sky lantern didnt land on my tent and require me to exit swiftly.

It was hot this year at night.  I slept naked.  It was like >12C every night, not exactly cold.

Fantastic. Admittedly she's a bit wiry but you wouldn't want to mess with her.

I thought it was bloody FREEZING at night - I wasn't on/drinking anything though, as I was there with the kids, but after the first night I had to go to bed with socks, tracky bottoms, t shirt, long sleeve t shirt, thick hoodie AND 3 season sleeping bag. Then I was ok.

I think if I was able to be up and about, I would have been fine in trackies and hoodie, cos moving around and energy drinks and the like keep you warm. And dancing.

But I thought it was perishing cold at night. We were in Cockmill, maybe it had its own micro climate?

I agree, we were both perishing at night, it was a visit to Joe Banana's on thursday morning first thing for some blankets...and that also included the liver in overdrive.... :)

aaaahhh - sorely tempted to bin off the kids next year (in the nicest possible way!) and experience the fest post 11 pm. I think it would be a different beast to daytime shenanigans.

it was quite cold at night but i hardly had any extra layers on. i was wearing a maxi dress, or top and trousers during the day then at night i only put on a cardigan, scraf and a hoody. usually at festivals i'll wear a cardigan, jumper, two hoodies, hat, scarf and sometimes gloves at night.

Worst thing was that it was bloody freezing at night so you had to put more layers on, but when you woke up you would be drowning in your own sweat.

Itook summer dresses and then tights and leggings in case it got cold or muddy. However, it was so hot during the day I found myself just wearing a dress and then taking a hoodie out with me to wear later when it got cold. I was a bit chilly some evenings, but we were camped so far away by the time I'd gone back to my tent I would have missed something or lost the momentum to stay out and I didn't want to carry loads of stuff round with me all day in the heat. You soon warm up if you just keep dancing!

Rolled up to the knee by capri pant/three quarter length things during the day, that I rolled them back down after dark - same ones all weekend - minging!
Wore a beaten up pair of Birks all weekend, didn't take any other shoes in with me so no option.
Baggy vest top thing - had two different ones, so wore them two days running - minging again!
A cardigan that I put on a couple of times, but even at 3am I mostly had it tied around my waist.
I also had a straw hat on in the day, which I kept on at night because I didn't go back to the tent - helps to have a warm head.

At night I seem to remember sleeping in what I was wearing. Apart from on the Saturday when I was in a right state getting back to the tent - I woke up at 5am wearing a long sleeved t-shirt (mine), a fleece gilet (not mine?), PJ bottoms (mine), fleece socks (not mine) and a woolly hat (not mine).. what?? No memory of putting all that stuff on, but obviously woke up drowing in sweat.

Oh I just remembered - I changed on Saturday night because I was going to meet a bloke I fancy who was working with the BBC - knew he was all clean and tidy, so needed to not look like a tramp. Put a mini dres on over short leggings. Forgot my cardi, but he warmed me up. Ha.
