As I do every year ive been wading through the bill, having a good listen to the band I have never listened to or heard of. Every year you find a couple of good ones and this year im now hooked on Band Of Skulls.

Performing third on the Radio 1/ NME Stage on the friday at Leeds and saturday at Reading, they would be well worth a watch. With only a 35min set they wouldnt take too much out of your day, but there songs are awesome, a hint of White Stripes and the Scuzzyness which some bands would love and die for.

Take a listen, dont know if they have been mentiond yet but heres a couple of videos.

(Im not there promoter lol just a fan!)

Yeah I've had there album for a little while now and I think its very good.

I'm deffo going to be seeing these, them and probably pulled apart by horses are probably my favorite two out of the lesser known bands playing this year.

I think from my point of view the clashes for both of these bands are quite good. Band of skulls vs Mystery jets and Pulled apart by horses vs NOFX.

Los Campesinos are worth a listen too they have impressed me.

I've heard good things about Delphic and Yaesayer aswell but haven't really tried listening to them fully yet because I'm more than likely going to be at both Lost Prophets and Biffy Clyro.

There are a few good ones, ive seen Chapel Club aswell but to be honest they have a good sound but i couldnt understand the main singer!

Band Of Skulls will be an amazing for me, the album is fantastic and what i like in a band they have some good sing along of tunes.
