Back around the time that the lockup stage was announced, there was a lot of talk about somebody doing a double set, a special guest band still to be added and a couple of other rumours about a band that was still to be added, but not until after another festival had taken place. Nothing has really been said about any of these rumours since...has all that been put to bed now, or are we still waiting for some news?

Theres 2 bands left to be announced. The Rats and one other. So i'm gonna go for Gallows (The Rats) and Glassjaw sub headlining, because TGUK (as much as i love them), aren't big enough to headline. Add to that that Glassjaw are headlining Hevy fest.
That's the only band i can think fo who it could be anyway.

They would of done but one of them is getting wed the same time as Reading, oh well there's always the next last ever gig they play.
One of the bands is also playing the same day at the festival on another stage so it's probably either Frank Turner or Gaslight Anthem and whoever the Rats are.

Love it to be Big D (gonna be seeing them twice next month
)but considering the Rats only other gig is with Alleyway Crew and Thrash Talk they are probably gonna be a hardcore band even if it's not Gallows so that it's for ska on the line up.

I noticed on Sum 41's website that they are heading to europe to play in switzerland on 31st of August, and because they pulled out of download im counting them as a wishful suprise entry.

I'm still clinging on to the fading hope of No Use For a Name and Lagwagon. They're touring Europe together in July/August which ends mid-August with no UK dates announced...

WOOOAAAAHHH.
My friend's frind's friend's grandmother's sister is the great grandmother of someone who knows the Gallows personally. They said they are the rats. OMGZ. This is such big news, im glad i was the first person to let people know about this.
Seriously though 2 points, noone here knows you and therefore could be a compulsive liar. The other evidence showing the rats are the galllows is alot more reliable than the word of a stranger.
Secondly, the gallows are shit.
EDIT: The thread specifically said none of the crap about the Rats anyway, so therewas no point bringing it up, except for the fact that you could be asked who you know, and you can be all kool and shit and be likes "I know someone who knows the gallows. Be my friend please"
