If you have a spare few minutes………….

Now that Glastonbury is over how would you like to relive your experience by telling me about your thoughts and feelings of this year’s festival. This is for part of my research for my dissertation on the culture, rituals and the experience of Glastonbury. By just answering 10 questions you will help me enormously in my research and in return you will receive good karma and that warm fuzzy feeling when you do something good for no personal gain!

Here is the link….click away….
Glastonbury Survey
In answering the questions you can be as profound or profane as you like. Bear in my mind that this survey is completely confidential so feel free to say whatever comes to mind.

Thankyou.

That's better - done, takes about 10 minutes, generally nice open questions that made me happily remenisce.  :)

Interesting. I too had the idea of basing my dissertation on Glastonbury. Would be an enjoyable topic.

Done.  Can I just say, can we see the results of this?  We get asked to fill in a lot of these things, but don't ever seem to find out what the conclusions are from them.  I'd love to know what the overall result is.

Hi,

Thanks to everyone who's already filled this out- you are a friendly bunch of Glastonbury goers! Had a great response so far in such a small amount of time and some interesting Glasto stories.

Regarding the results of my research- I would be more than happy to forward my finished dissertation to anyone, or maybe make a webpage with some of the replies I got. But there isn't necessarily any 'results' per se, its exploratory research linking to existing theory. It's due in on 11th September, so 10,000-15,000 words of Glastonbury theory will be available then, hopefully it will be very interesting and I'll get a good mark :)

I'm doing an MSc in Marketing by the way, at Bath university. I know my questions don't seem alot like 'marketing', but I took a module on Marketing to Consumers, which has a more psychological view. In that we are all consumers- not just of products and services, but of experiences as well and we all have a different perspective. Hope this bit of background is appreciated.

I must say I think this forum has been very helpful for me as a first time Glasto-goer (and of a major festival as well), from a personal/novice view and for helping with my dissertation. Definitely going to visit more often, and hopefully make it to Glasto 2011- think I may have the bug now!

X

Hey, just getting this back up near the top.

Please, if anyone else has got a spare few minutes can you please fill out my survey. You can write as little or as much as you like. Obviously the longer replies have more information and go a bit more into detail.

Some people have thanked me for doing this survey as they've got to reminisce and relive their Glastonbury expereince, in fact one respondent has termed it 'euphoric recall', which I quite like. The more varied responses I get the better. So this is my last final push at getting some more replies.

Thanks to everyone who has replied already.

Done and done, was worth it just to reminisce. Would like to read it once it's done, would be interesting to see what everyone said.

Done. It's good to see some well thought out questions, a lot of the Glastonbury dissertation surveys ask very generic questions. It also gave me a chance to properly reflect on this year's festival, so thanks for that.

Hey Everyone!

Just an update on my dissertation. I got 68% which is just two marks off a dissertation- so I was very pleased with that. I graduated in December with a merit overall. So thanks for all of you that took part in my glasto questionaire- couldn't have done it without you!

Now, I'm doing some more research for Bath University. I need as many respondents as possible- so it would be great if you could take 5 minutes to do this quick survey. It's not about Glastonbury this time, but customer satisfaction and service recovery. Just thought you guys were really helpful last time so would post it up here.

Customer Satisfaction Survey

Thanks again.
