just saw on NME.com that he was doing a solo show last night and it had to be pulled as pete could not continue, could this be signs of things to come.

It wasn't because he couldn't continue. It was pulled just after doors opened. I think he'll be out by the weekend, 'Shambles are playing T on Sunday.

How many Libertines not playing threads will we get before the fest?
Until I actually see them onstage i won't believe any story.

Given the amount of money on offer, I'm sure he'll make sure he turns up to Reading.

My brother watched Babyshambles at T yesterday and said that Doherty looked and sounded as good as he's heard him.

Thank god he's playing at Leeds first. Wouldn't be sure if he'll be able to make it to Reading the next day.

aye pete was on fine form at T, on time, looking fresh (well, as fresh as he can nowadays) and definitely not wasted.
The libertines cant afford not to turn up, there is far more chance of guns n roses not turning up than them
