Just got the tent out this morning to give it a clean, When the first gust of wind got hold of it a cloud appeared that would put the volcanic ash cloud to shame. Mine was not that bad so dread to think what the ones next to the paths were like

Ours is pretty dusty but the biggest cloud to come off it was glitter.

Attacked mine on Friday with a hose, sponge & vileda mop. Still can't get it all off!

Was shocked by the ones next to the path on the way to Park from Other!

Did not really notice...
the only issue I had on the Monday was it being damp from the night before.

We were ok camped where we were, but I was astounded at how dusty some of the tents near the paths were. I reckon some of them must have been pretty dusty inside too - surely with that amount of dust some of it must have penetrated into the sleeping compartment?!

When I took my tent down there was a mega dew so my by the path camped tent now has an irremovable fine layer of Glasto clay on it. I can't see it ever coming off ...well not until a repeat of 2007 weather wise! Not complaining though, my behemoth is 8 years old and every year acquires a new feature from the G.

It's either that, or the ongoing effects of singing too loudly in the Silent Disco. When I took my tent down there was a mega dew so my by the path camped tent now has an irremovable fine layer of Glasto clay on it. Mine was filthy on the outside, but surprisingly fine inside, especially considering I left the door open most of the time that I was at the campsite to keep it aired and cooler. It was wet with dew on the monday when I packed it up so I put it up in the garden on Thursday and gave it a good rub down with a couple of buckets of water, then let it dry out. It's not perfect but it'll do, and it won't go mouldy now.

i don't think my tent is too dusty. the ones next to the walkway were covered in dirt though and people were writing things on them.
me tent was wet when i took it down so i'll need to dry it before i use it again.

MAAAAN my tent was dusty! It was dewy when we left too, so as soon as I got home I stuck it and the one my sister borrowed out in the garden. I literally soaked them FOUR times but the dust is still visible. Anyone know what kind of soil they have down there? It seemed a bit clay-like to me. I remember Reading Festival in 2003 being pretty similar temperature-wise and there being lots of dust, but it never seemed to penetrate like the Glastonbuy dust!

My large 'white' canvas tent has a fine layer of dust all over!! mmmmm...
But it stayed dry, was very dry when i packed it away, so i think i'll just leave it be! Can't do much harm... I expect though that as soon as it gets some rain on it, it will develope some lovely brown streaks that will end up staining it forever. mmmmmmm...
Never mind eh.
