Hot Chip (AMAZING!!!)
Orbital (seeing my dr who fan friends go mental was priceless, amazing set too)
Laura Marling (park stage sundown was incredibly special)
LCD Soundsystem, always attract the nicest people!!
Wild Beasts - a truly unique and special group.
Ok ive seen the last two at their own gigs this year and they were better at their own gigs by miles but they were still ace.
Disappointment:
These new puritans, not at the band but at the sound and the timing of their set / early sunday afternoon ruined it for them. they needed a smaller stage and a non clueless sound guy / equipment that didnt break.
Honourable mentions:
The cribs, boys noize, pulled apart by horses - seen them all loads and loads of times before and they were amazing as they always are, but i cant put them in my top 5 cos ive seen them so many times its not such a novelty to see them. whereas hot chip ive hardly seen and they blew me away.

In no particular order, mine would be:
Ray Davies
Stevie Wonder
Courteeners
Slash
Strange Boys
Special mentions also to Imelda May (Avalon), Shakira, Florence & The Machine and The Bees.
In fact, everyone was brilliant apart from one notable exception - La Roux. Absolute cack.

I'd say these were my top 5
Foals
LCD Soundsystem
The xx
Phoenix
Gorillaz
Thought The National, Jamie T and Beach House were really good as well
Gutted I missed Thom Yorke (someone told me it was Lady GaGa and I foolishly believed them), watching the videos on YouTube it would have easily been in my top 5
I enjoyed pretty much everything I saw this year except These New Puritans. Hidden is one of my favourite albums of the year so I was a bit disappointed that the sound was awful and that nothing really seemed to work properly for them. It was strange that the sound was so bad for them considering how good it was in there for the rest of the weekend, it was even really good for Broken Social Scene and there millions of members and instruments
