Kylie is currently being interviewed by Scott Mills. Not going into the rest of it coz im meant to be working, but they chatted about Glasto, she said it was amazing and when Scott said "you should do it, you should headline next year" Kylie.... paused..... for a suspiciously long time... before simply saying "we'll see what next year brings".
Probably nothing, just thought I'd share!

I hope not. At least not on the Pyramid Stage.
(but then again, as long as there's a good alternative at the same time it doesn't matter that much)

Wouldn't mind Kylie at all but would prefer Lady Gaga!

Kylie would be a decent headliner. No problem with her. Depending on who else was on, I'd see her.
I wouldn't go to watch Gaga but I can see her also putting on a good show. Has she enough material for a headline slot though? I guess a couple of covers with guests could help her out

Lady gaga? Surely she's years of being able to headline the biggest festival in the world,
Or am I missing something

I'd heard in the weeks before the festival that Kylie was mega keen to try and get things sorted for her to play next year, and that she'd be quite happy not to be the headliner.
Added with the reaction she got on Saturday with Scissor Sisters I reckon it's more than possible that a verbal agreement was reached at the weekend to play next year, tho going by the things Michael's said recently and Kylie's willingness to play as non-headliner I wouldn't bank on her necessarily headlining.

I'm all for Kylie playing but I'm not sure about headlining. Her moment seems to have passed now I feel...
She'd be great on before a headliner ala Scissor Sisters this year though.

Wouldn't mind a bit of Kylie actually, I went through a phase like most gentlemen I presume where I was quite in love with her
I would imagine it would be a lot of fun hopefully without the crowd lady gaga would bring! (Though I wouldn't mind seeing lady gaga up there either, but she probs dosn't have quite enough hits to headline and do it great yet)

I'm still going through that phase!
I'm sure she will be there somewhere next year. She's got a taste for it now!!

I thought the pause during the interview was most telling as well.

Would be a good booking for 2011...but not as a headliner i think.

I would be so f**king happy, had a minor meltdown when she came on with the scissor sisters (I was the only person in the entire festival who apparently hadn't heard the rumour that she would be on)... really quite like the new album

Lady Gaga may have only been around less than 2 years but she's a loads of singles already - all of them big hits. At the rate she's going, by the time next Glastonbury is here, she'd probably have had several more. Plus she's already doing arena tours and headlining festivals in the US. She could totally do it, and pull in a pretty decent crowd. If the other headliners are people like Radiohead and Coldplay, I think Eavis would be keen to mix it with someone like Gaga rather than Kylie.

Hope she doesn't headline, I too think she has missed her chance...although she could well manage being high up the lineup. I personally think it will be Beyonce
