EDIT:

I wasn't sure if it would work and it didn't Some annoying git deleted all of the scores people had put into the spreadsheet. Damn.

But I'm not one to be beaten so I've come up with a new, improved twonk-proof version, split across two forms:

http://spreadsheets....fN0lyMGFDMVE6MQ - Artists A - SO

http://spreadsheets....kZQdlE6MQ#gid=0 - Artists SO - Z

Basically it's now a form with all acts in alphabetical order. At Neil's request I've added more stges (West Dance, East Dance, Avalon, Glade and Queen's Head.

Just select a score from 0 to 10 for every act you saw and leave the others blank and then click 'submit' at the bottom.

I'll get all of the scores in a spreadsheet and will give figures in a few days.

Not sure if this is going to work but let's give it a go. I thought it would be interesting to see how eFesters rated the various acts at this year's festival to see if we agree/disagree and whether there's a clear winner of 'act of the festival'

I've created a spreadsheet in Google Docs which contains all of the acts that appeared on The Pyramid, Other, John Peel, West Holts, Acoustic and The Park stages. They're listed in alphabetical order.

To add your score you just need to stick your efestivals username at the top of a column and then add your score out of 10 next to the acts that you watched.

If you then post who you gave your highest score to in this thread it should encourage others to give their scores.

I'll tally them up in a few days and let you know the results.

great idea, but a damned shame that you've only included the major stages. :(

I had a sneaky suspicion you'd say that Neil.

Basically it's all I had time to copy and paste a moment ago. It's a google doc so anyone can add artists to the column (just got to remember to reorganise by A-Z once they have)

I can try myself if I get time later - I certainly know there's much more to Glasto than the main stages!

Early scores suggest that Mumford & Sons will be the act to beat!

My personal favourite looking back with hindsight (Stevie Wonder was the "best" I think) was probably Hot Chip. The combination of really nice weather and a great atmosphere coupled with me knowing a lot of songs made it really really cool.

how are you scoring things? Adding up the votes for an act and then dividing that by the number of voters for that act?

I'm a bit happy with my big scores..  Enjoyed everything on sunday a bit too much.

Its good to see what others think though,  never thought Neil would be a Scissor Sisters fan.

Has someone deleted everything on the database? Hopefully it's just my computer playing up.

Couldn't get the spreadsheet to work. Can't we do this but on the boards, bit like that hurt/heal thread?

That was my plan. That said it leaves it open for the 'efestivals act of the festival' to be someone that only person saw and gave a 10 to. I'll give it a couple of days, tot it up and probably insist the winner has at least 5 votes...

Arse - some rather irritating individual has deleted everything.

I guess that's what happens when you place your trust in the internet. That's a shame and rather annoying.

I'm not sure if I can retrieve an old version of Google Docs. I'll try and have another go tomorrow and hope there aren't any divs about.
