I saw so many different wristband colours over the weekend and wondered if anyone knew what each of them were
The gold and lilac ones are the 'i've paid to get in' wristbands
What were yellow - and was there orange and then white with black lines with orange (?) writing
Can;t remember the others, but every second person didn;t seem to have a 'paid for' wristband- or was it my imagination?

I think bright yellow was perfromers. what was the deal with the white plastic ones with a pic of ME on? I spotted a few of those in addition to the golden punters ones.

Phil-itfc, on 30 June 2010 - 09:54 PM, said:Those were Easy Pass Out wristbands, so members of staff camping in the staff campsites outside of the main site could pass in and out without their halftickets being checked. My friend working for DCSS had one and was pretty annoyed at how ugly the wristband was compared to everyone else's.what was the deal with the white plastic ones with a pic of ME on? I'm sure I saw someone with a silver wristband at one point... but may have imagined it.

The white wristbands with Micheal's face on were the Easy Access passes for Security, Medical, Stewards, Gate Monitors, Festival Republic ticketing staff and some other organisations who wored on site and therefore were regularly passing through the gates each day.

White with faces was early site access was it not?
Luminous yellow was 'site wide' which basically allowed you to be on site til tuesday 9pm. Some performers and crew got it for the weekend too, in conjunction with a laminate. Basically it's approved site access, but you need a laminate for your area.
Purple plastic was shangri la crew
Pink sparkly plastic was park guest
stripey white and yellow with 'bar humbug' on it was Avalon Stage Bar
Silver and orange sparkly wristband was production
Light blue with luminous milk bottle was hospitality
More stages used laminates this year I felt to be honest, as they're easier to produce on site with a printer and a laminator. Certainly all hardcore backstage pyramid stuff is done with laminates, and they're guarded with people's lives. Serious.
The ones to have this year were the Bad Idea bar, and theatre as ever.

The blue was hospitality
The bright yellow and bright green were the workers
The silver and black were artists and working back stage
lilac and gold, glow in the dark one's were US
and the white were the easy pass out
and the different coloured triangle one's...no idea

Yellow, Hosbitalitly?, we had those and they were greeny/bluey
The Navy Blue ones got you anywhere-ish
Sparkley yellowy, with Salmon pink writing, were residents

bright orange with reflective holograms, BBC compound
and the flouro greenish yellow ones were not all site wide. most were printed "greenfield crew"
and folk that were SL/arcdadia/common/download etc all had to have a band for their area and different ones for all the backstage/underground/secret venues in the late night area. and to get into quality tom's bar you had to have a badge!

Silver was for Unfair Ground, which had two backstage bars - Banana and Roma.
Black was for Block 9.
Purple was either Shangri-la or Arcadia (not sure which).
White was Easy Pass-Out (so you could just stroll on and off site).
Yellow with brownish stripes was for Bar Humbug (good for watching the football).
Gorilla bar behind Shangri-la needed a card for entry.
Tom's bar in Shangri-la camping never asked me for a badge and was a very worthwhile excursion.
Staff need an escape bar and facilities for sure, but I'm not sure about the elitist feel of places like Gorilla (fun pub though).
