I was totally captivated by the fiery fountain thing in Arcadia. It looked like water (well, I'm pretty sure it was water), but burning at the top of the fountain and - to an extent - on the surface of the pool of water beneath it.

Anyone know how it works?

No idea how it works but it didn't look very enviromentally friendly to me - unless it was powered off chip fat.

Apparently it was gas being pumped up through the water fountain.  Looked amazing and wish I had some pics/video of it.  People wouldn't believe me when I told them I saw a water fountain on fire! lol

Anyone see the flaming K9 organ - literally played musical notes with fire.

I too saw this and it was quite a spectacle !

I saw 2 guys operating the valves of two large gas cylinders which fed the high pressure butane? gas through pipes to the centre of a deep water tank where it was allowed to vent up to the surface and burn.

I am no expert but I believe the pressure of the gas brought a lot of water up with it and when it was ignited gave the amazing effect of a fire fountain !!

Am looking forward to seeing pictures and videos of it when they finally appear ...

Hopefully  it will become a permanant feature of Arcadia!
