Went there early in the morning for a bit of Techno  B)

It will probably spoil it, but that blue and yellow tent is the venue through the back

We found the sign on Friday and looked around for someone to give us our riddles but there was no-one about. Came back on Saturday and same story. We assumed that you had to be "in the know" to get access.

Went in there Sunday night... Was fun ... for about five minutes! Had to answer a riddle to get in although I don't think anyone in our group actually got it right.

Sunday night in the main rabbit hole - anyone stay past 2am to see if a proper 'very secret guests' came on?
one of mumford and sons drumming for some rather rubbish jazz act isn't exactly my idea of very secret.

It was quite funny at about 12 when lots of trendy indie kids turned up expecting to see The Strokes - no idea who'd told them that.

I heard about this Rabbit Hole prior to going to Glasto, and never found out exactly what it was! I saw the sign on Saturday night but never ended up going, therefore i am still none the wiser to what was in there....

any one care to fill me in?

Peace

I went to the Rabbit Hole to see Quintessence and Nick Turners version of Hawkwind Space Ritual. Really liked it in there but its to close to the Park stage as all you could here if they were talking or quiet bits of music was what was on the Park stage.

In Peace to you all and I hope you had a good festival.

yep on Saturday night... whilst Dreadzone were playing.  Luckily we'd met the owner on wednesday night and the way to get round the riddles was to bring a carrot... which we did!

Anyone know if Freebass actually played there on the Saturday night? There was quite a few people in the Rabbit Hole Cafe/Bar bit waiting for them to come on there while Jarvis Cocker was DJing. Didn't realise about the tent out the back!

We got our riddle wrong, then had to head down the red carpet as 'one of the attendees at the Mad Hatter's tea party'. Looked like idiots.

Anyone have any trouble 'squeezing' out of the first tunnel? I went through first and got to watch the rest of the group struggling with the 'door man'. Also had a good time hiding behind doors, scaring people.

Why did I not take pictures..?

Wow, I didn't know there were that many secret areas.  I crawled through the first tunnel, saw the dance area, went through another tunnel and ended up at a cinema with an outdoor area and an exit, which I used to get to the Jarvis Cocker dj set.  After his set, I tried again because my medicine had fallen out while crawling around, but they wouldn't let me.

I'd been led to believe it was some kind of underground venue, but it was just a big tipi tent.

Far more interesting was the Crow's Nest, up the top of the hill.  Very intimate little spot where we saw Stornoway, Danny and the Champs, Mountain Man and Villagers.  The highlight was watching Mountain Man corpsing massively as the members of Villagers teased them from the crowd.  You wouldn't get that on the Pyramid Stage.
