Transylvanian Fog?

Hi, everybody!

Is anybody out there who could give me some usefull info about Peninsula Felsziget Festival? I've stumbled upon it and it looks quite attractive to me both for its line-up (Korn, Tricky, Gorillaz, Ska-P and the like) and for it taking place in Transylvania. Nevertheless, that's almost all I know about it. It seems like they are keeping this festival in a thick fog, far from human eyes: their site is exclusively in Romanian & Hungarian, which is completely useless to me :angry:

So, has anybody been there? How can one get there? How's the atmosphere like down there, hot like hel1 or bl00dy-boring? Where can one sleep (are there any youth hostels or camping facilities in that town?)? How much does the festival-ticket cost? Where and till when can one get the tickets? What about expenditures? How much would cost, say, a week in Transylvania, festival and all?

u can get there by plane (there are regular flights from London - Luton to Cluj Napoca) then by bus or just hitchhiking (from Cluj to Targu Mures = 90 km = 60 miles).

the fest is pretty cool & u can do lots of things beside partying: 20 to 30 sports (bungee jumping, swimming, canoeing, football etc), film sessions (films presented at this year's edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival), street theatre, comedy shows, games and so on.

there's a camping site on fest grounds & it will cost u € 5 in all (= 5 days & 4 nights). u'll find veg food, regular food & beer are pretty cheep (I mean a pint of beer will cost u € 1 or just a bit more than that).

the ticket for the four days is at RON 199 = about € 45. u can also gat tickets for a single day of your choice at RON 80 = about € 17. you can get the ticket in every romanian Germanos, Orange & Vodafone shop or in Cărtureşti & Humanitas libraries. you can also get the ticket online here.

I don't know what to say about expenditures in Transylvania - that's up to you. I'd say it can vary anywhere between € 20 to 40 per day, depending on where u sleep & eat.
