Ok,

This has been annoying me, I have read things insinuating there is a festival in 2011 but I thought they take a break every fifth year, for the land to recover etc!! I hope there is one next year, but is there? And if there is why aren't they taking a break. I was just looking at previous years 92,93,94,95 break 97,98,99,00 break 02,03,04,05 break 07,08,09,10 ?????

On a brighter note, this year is going to be awesome!!

Yeah what he said! ^
But tbh there shouldn't be a fallow year a year is long enough as it is.

something about not enough portaloos in the country to cover both!

Basically the event logistical contractors are either not going to be available or charging a mega premium during the Olympics, so festival next year, no festival in 2012

You said "fallow".

What Siman didn't realise is that Eavis always referred to the years off as fallow, therefore so does everyone else.
