Not going to be there until early evening on Thursday :(

I'm stressing slightly about where I'm going to be able to camp.  Do reckon it'll be better to drive round to the West car parks?

Checkout how full it is already :o

Another Thursday bod here - hubby is already there and tent is up, looks busy but not rammed from the photo he has sent me.

I am dropping kids off with Grandma tonight and heading off with my friend from Manchester about 6am tomorrow... first year for ages I haven't been there on Wednesday so feels a bit weird!

I just got back from the site and the good news is that you Thursday/Friday arrivals have avoided a big chunk of chaos. I pulled into West 34 car park at 7:10am and shuffled off towards gate D, where there was a very long queue that snaked around the whole of West 36 and up the lane behind. The queuing from the West 36 to pedestrian gate D was just under 2 hours. The queues were still pretty serious at about 11:00am when I left. I drove past an almost solid, almost stationary line of traffic from the site through Glastonbury to within a few hundred meters of the M5 (that's about 19 miles of traffic).

Hopefully you will find it a bit easier when you make your fashionably late entrance tomorrow or Friday.

i don't get to leave birmingham til tomorrow, hopefully at lunchtime but could be after school time depending on my friend getting the afternoon off work. at least i don't have to worry about space to camp; saw my friends off at 3.30 this morning, they were in by 9.15 and had pitched the tents and opened their first cider by 11.00   :D

Another Thursday traveller here. Will be driving up from East Sussex and hope to get there early in the morning.

I'm too stressing about the camping areas as well.

Myself & fellow Thurs traveller arrived Glasto and were frantically phoning mate at 3pm to arrange rendevouz in Pennards. (our mate TimeSpeedsUp had arrived Wed so we had to meet him)
The drive down from Harrow via Hampshire ( J4a of M3) was surprisingly easy & as so many peeps had arrived Tues night & Wed we got in car park very quickly. But f**k me wasn't it a hike from the West car parks to campsite!? Such a long walk this year! Further than previous years & the one thing thar put me off.
Anyone else??
