Okay this is really weird, but today seems unusual, when I woke up I was really excited about going to Glasto tomorrow but now I'm just a bit meh... Wtf has happened to me... I feel like Dumbledore has cast a bad spell on me or something !
Give me my mojo back you dirty wizard sleeve!!

What? Jackmypie not full of the joys???
Well it must mean hot sun all weekend then
Come on, you've been so active on here maybe you're just ready for the big relax and instead of mad excitement you're actually chilling down and get a Glasto head on??
Either that or youre just being a bit of a miserable arse and in which case you should just shape up and get wid da programme

It's probably cos of all the hassle that you need to get through the get there.
Have a cider and stick some tunes on - your mojo will be back in no time!

I have had a bit of a lull in previous years just before leaving. Soon disappears once i see the Tor for the first time
The good weather this year has meant i have been pretty excited for quite a while now (got to wait until Thursday to go though

The day before you leave is the worst day! Always has been for me.

Im not as excited as I was yesterday but that'd be difficult, i'm not exactly looking forward to the driving down, aslong as we don't hit queues otl be fine, would like to know if early arrivals might get punished by being put in a car park miles away, and the walk in is never fun, but look past that and you just know it's going to be amazing

okay our friends have saved us a spot at michaels mead, is this a good place to camp/have you camped there before?

You've got a camping spot saved and your still not excited????? Never camped there myself, wrong side ofthe site for me personally, not that I matters much! I presume they must be workers then? Don't suppose they've got any inside info a to which car parks will be open ?? ( closest or furthest from the gates )

ahh no, they are just getting them super early tomorrow and saving me a spot cos I'm going in at like 7pm.
I know when I get there I will be f**king ecstatic and causing mayhem along with my friends
But I'm just not feeling it atm.
no idea why!

I must admit i kinda know what you mean. Over the last few weeks/months i've been utterly intollerable to everyone around me with my constant glastobating and irritating chirpyness but today has been pretty 'meh' to say the least but that's probably due to the insane amount of running around i've had to do around a busy hot sweaty city to get all my stuff ready and packed.
Also, oddly enough now all my stuff is packed i feel kinda not bothered... Just as if it was any other tuesday evening.
I kinda get the same feeling on christmas eve every year... There's all the hype building up to it then all of a sudden it's staring you in the face and you know that all too soon it will be over and that you'll have to wait for a whole year till the next one which is kinda depressing
but hey! Musn't grumble eh, coz i'll tell you something.... I can guarantee you that tomorrow morning you will bolt out of bed like you've just had a cattle prod inserted up your rectum and you will feeling on top of the f**king world.
Now stop being a miserable old twirp and man up! You know it makes sense!
This is the calm before the armageddon
