More chance of me growing a spring out of my rectum and bouncing to Glastonbury than them playing in the Park, I would say.
The whole subject of why they're not playing (at least officially) on the line-up really troubles me and doesn't seem to make sense.
They didn't play last year, they brought out an album three weeks before the Festival, they're absolute Glastonbury royalty over the past decade, they're apparently really good friends of Emily Eavis and the festival as a whole, one of the headliners pullled out, it's the 40th anniversary and they'd be a major draw, and yet they're not on the bill.
Something doesn't add up. Maybe Neil could shed some light.
Personally, I suspect some low-key dj set in the small hours, somewhere in Arcadia, that the majority of people will miss. Shame.

Yeah, of all the artists I would have thought were practically guaranteed, the Chems were at the top of the list. Was most perplexed when the line-up was released.

couple of other things.
anybody that went to the albany, and then turnmills in the mid 90's knows that the main purpose of the Heavenly Social was to promote tom and ed.
It was their night.
The people running the 'heavenly' jukebox, according to a few peeps that have tweeted them, are the Heavenly Social guys.
Add to that the fact that Ed has tweeted about the park line up looking special, and the stonebridge bar being located in the park..........
I might be 2+2=4ing, but i'll eat my own tent sunday night if the special guest slot from midnight to 2am sunday night isnt those crazy big beaters

I second this excellent assumption! Il eat my hat instead as I wont need that as much as my tent once the chems finish their raucous set.,..

Ed also tweeted that he has a ticket, but didn't respond to my 'artist or punters ticket?' question.

I'll have two quid's worth of that. Cheers for the tip. Let's just hope word doesn't get out too much, or you wont' be able to get near the Stonebridge Bar by midnight.
