Jazz World West Holts Stage.  If you are facing the stage, it's parallel to it on the right hand side.

Lovely food, but if I had to criticise it could be a tad hotter.

No worries, glad to help.  That's actually a good field for food.  There's a few other decent outlets there.  Opposite corner having La Grande Bouffe which does great crepes and a very nice sausage and potato something (tartiflette perhaps?).

They were also at Larmer Tree as well... my taste buds are tingling at the thought. I wonder how many festivals they attend each year?

I think last year they didn't open until Wednesday evening - we were too eager and got there when they were still setting up! We always try and track them down at festivals - they do the Big Chill as well.

One of my favourite Glastonbury food stalls.  Last year I went twice, and the second time the man recognised me and gave me an extra-large portion of curry!  Planning one of these on Wednesday teatime!

I agree, there seem to be more quality food places in this field than anywhere else, although I'm sure someone will put me right on this. Last year I had the Goan fish curry, which was tasty, but I also had curried goat which was excellent. Think it was very close to the Brothers Bar on the lefthand side.

The thali cafe is at the top of the park area, on the left.

Can anyone remind me where yam the cassava is? I never managed to eat there last year even though it was top of my list of places to try.
It was either closed or i have already eaten every time i stumbled past it!

next door to the marvellous Goan fish curry stall is the magnificent pasta place, wot will do you a large portion of pasta and some garlic bread for less than £4. yes, you read that right, less than £4. i believe it was £3.99 last year.

proper al dente pasta with a tasty sauce to fill you up cheaply all day looooong. excellent expresso too!

che bello!

thali cafe and manic organic are on the drag down through the greenfields. Manic organic south of the old railway line on your right, thali cafe north of the old  railway line, on your left.

i think Yam the Cassava is also in jazzworld, other side from pieminister??

...
That's their second outlet.  The original is between Croissant Neuf and the Green fields.

edit: same for Manic Organic.  You pass that one before you get to The Thali Cafe.

All places mentioned on this thread are superb. I had Jerk chicken at home last night and it was lush. Need to revisit one at glasto to see how it compares. I had Jerk chicken from the Jazz world last year but was not that impressed.

Anyone know the best Caribbean Food place on site?

Love the Goan Fish Curry.  Kedgeree for breakfast... yum  :P  It's my second favourite breakfast after the Manic Organic one.

If you want it hotter, there is a bottle of hot pepper sauce on the side that you can use to spice it up a bit.

The best Caribbean stall on site has to be Yam the Cassaba. It's situated close to Jazzworld on the left hand side if you're walking towards Williams Green. They serve the food on an actual ceramic plate with proper knifes and forks - that's 5 star luxury, that is.
