Hello, Glasto vet here (well kind of )  I had an account but somehow got deleted.

Anyway quick query.  Basically we ordered a Campervan ticket which was meant to be dispatched with the tickets, however a car park ticket came.  On the back of the ticket where it has the numbers you've ordered it did day Campervan : E1.  Does anyone know if this is likely to come seperately.

Also I noticed on the FAQ on the off site it mentions that campervans have to be a certain size.  We have managed to rent one that would appear to be larger than the average!  Is this likely to be a problem.

Sorry for the perhaps daft questions and probably to appear like an ill informed noob!!!  Have camped at Glasto for years but taking my parents for the first time who have decided they want a bit of comfort.  Might be odd not sleeping under canvas but hey.  Anyway thats why I have no idea about any of this.

See you there!!!

From the FAQ:

Can I bring a winnebago or extra large caravan?
Yes. However, for all vehicles longer than 7 metres it will be necessary to purchase two caravan/campervan tickets, to cover the extra space required.

How do we gain access to the campervan/caravan fields on arrival?
The only access to the East campervan/caravan fields is via the Blue Route, along from the A37.

The only access to the West campervan/caravan fields is via the White Route, along the A361.

A campervan/caravan ticket with your specific routing colour will be sent to you with your Festival tickets, which will permit access to the Pylle Road via the Blue Route, or the White Route from the A361 and allow you to park in the appropriate campervan/caravan  fields.

Please note that for 2010 you will ONLY be sent your campervan tickets in advance, which you should display in your window on approaching the site. You will then be issued with your pass on site once your campervan/caravan has been checked and approved by the campervan/caravan field stewards.

Hmm seems like a phone call might be in order to seetickets then.

And it's not looking good for the camper then.  I assume they will just turn us away if they don't like it!

God knows why my work computer lets me on efest but not the official site!

Thanks for the help though

HI we had the same problem, no campervan ticket arrived. Get In touch with see tickets and they will send you out the window pass you need by special delivery.

If it is deemed unsuitable (or you dont have the correct ticket) they will let you into normal car parks.

Hi,  we received our tickets without our campervan pass.  I phoned See yesterday and they said that because we ordered our campervan ticket seperately it will only be sent out this week and we will receive it by Monday at the latest!

Unless your camper is massively huge then I would'nt worry about buying extra tickets.

Well this is the thing.  My Dad seems to have borrowed it from a friend from the states, which means unfortunately it is bold, brash and very large apparently, I haven't seen the behemoth yet mind. It's not a vw camper by any means!!

Have all the campervan tickets been sold, perhaps I may just bite the bullet and see about getting another.

Edit - It's around 9 metres apparently.  Wish I was camping now seems to be more trouble than it's worth!!!  normally my biggest worry now would be how much Thatchers Cider I could carry!
