Really can't stand the Green Day of new and doubt they'd be that well recieved at Glasto.

Having seen pyramid headliners across 5 Glastos I can't see how tonight's set from Green Day couldn't go down well. It really did have the lot (including a Hey Jude sing-a-long ala 2004)

By "Green Day of new" do you mean post-American Idiot i.e. commercially successful Green Day? I suspect that incarnation is what give sthem a shot of headlining. Quite remarkable rise after "Warning"; don't think many saw it coming

just like people doubted Jay-Z...

i think Green Day would be perfect for Glasto, ok i can see where ME comes from in regards to safety.... but the GD gig's i've been to are really no too "wild" and i think the Glasto crowd would appreciate some heavier stuff... better than coldplay and other MOR shite appearing year after year

I just feel like it rewards the loyal rather than the wealthy. Plus it's ofeten more like an extra score (or more) rather than a tenner. Not sure how they run it at Wembley but I'd guess not all that well. At Twickers they had a great queuing system with barriers. The best part was getting the wristband and going off for a pint and curry before coming back 3 hours later right at the front!

Now that would be good for Glasto!

I just remember it being an extra tenner for Foo Fighters at Hyde Park. Yeah at Wembley you've got to queue on specific ramps dependent on the gates printed on your tickets before you get to the turnstiles. Can all depend on how the officials controlling your ramp run it is how long you can take to get in.
