My wife bought me a plane trip over Pilton for my birthday, how lucky am I  

I spent about 15 mins circling the site and the Tor about 7 pm.

I'm at work at the moment (night shift) so I thought I'd just throw this up. I have about another twenty various shots, but don't get your hopes up, I'm no George Saguna and they are taken through glass so a lot of them aren't all that good.

Still, I should have the rest up somewhere before this time tomorrow, and in a much higher resolution.

Seeing that reduced images don't automatically open in a new window when clicking on them since the upgrade and often gets covered with other stuff when expanded in-situ, do a right click and select "View Image" instead

Wow there is still a whole lot of work to be done and only a week left!! I admittedly don't know much about these things but I would have though the ribbon tower takes a good while to construct! Isn't there normally a toilet block at the top of Pennards near the bridge over to Kings Meadow? (extra trek to the loo for me!)

Actually the ribbon tower is there, I don't know if you can see it in the pic above, but I'm sure I saw it in another picture. It's very hard to see because at the moment it's just scaffolding.

I'm supposed to be going asleep now, but I reckon it will be appreciated if I get the rest on the net now.
