I've taken a gazebo the last three years, first and second years were fine. Then last year I had a pop up one to save time and before it had really 'popped' I was asked to take it down. We had it at half height for a while then we were firmly told to pack it up or lose it. (red campsite) My thinking is a parasol is not banned so I'm going to bring it, it's only fixed in one point so wouldn't take up masses of camping space. Plus at 3x3m it's as big as my gazebo. If the census is a 'no no' then it's either a tent awing or my old tent without the pods for a bit of extra living space.

The people next to us had a gazebo last year and we didnt see them have any warnings of the sort.

By the sound of it, it's hit or miss if you get away with a gazebo

I think if you are bringing a Gazebo, you need to make sure you in the middle of the camp, not on one the roads/paths!

Parasols I'd imagine are under same rules. The reason they don't like them is a gust of wind sending one flying along the campsite is a bit of a H&S nightmare!
