Sorry Mr EFestivals but THIS IS SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE!

You can't see the regular way of seeing who started a thread. Avatars a thing of the past it would seem.

No lovely page overview with the Pyramid stage and friends pictures.

Is there no way of subscribing to the friendly, goodlooking, lovely and understandable old style page from phones now?

I'm all for new technology but not when it goes backwards! This is Poopy with a capital Poo! :(

AND JUST BEFORE THE G??? MEEEEEEEEEP!

Lucy, I think you want to click 'Full Version' at the bottom of the page cos it sounds like you're viewing the mobile version.

I clicked Full Version. Can anyone tell me how to get the mobile version back?

Ok...so accept my apology. I must have been sent the iPhone only version for starters. All blue, very crappy iPhone naff friendly, nothing like my usual lovely home with pyramids, avatars and friends.

Just managed to get regular version. Fingers crossed it stays cos I really can't be dealing with that crappy blue boring version. Meep 2 x

I like it, mainly. I'm guessing that although I haven't had time to explore yet, the latest version of the forum will have some pretty cool features.

The only thing I don't like is that it's no longer a centered, fixed-width layout, which means that for people on widescreen monitors (which is more and more people) it's going to be pretty hard to read long posts. I reckon this column of text is probably around 1300 pixels wide on my screen  :(

that wasn't meant to be on, and hopefully it's now turned off.

There's an efests version of the mobile skin coming soon, but it is much the same as the blue one - it's deliberately lightweight for what is regarded as the best benefit of people using mobile browsers.

i just looked at it on my iphone and i didn't think it was that bad, quick, simple, easy to use, just what i want when viewing on the move, i'd rather a stripped down version that was quick to load then an over complicated web page

Actually...if THIS is the proper new version...and not the whatever the other version was I got first...its more user friendly than before as you can now see avatar, name AND read message unlike a day ago.

I grove on my muddy festival knees and profusely apologise for being a bit upset upon first initial whatever the hell happened at first experience with its erm...blue not at all what I recognizeness.

yes! i really don't like the fact it sits to the left of the screen would prefer it sitting centrally, but i think it has to sit this way so that the adverts can fit in on the right hand side...

I thought that fixed width columns went out a while ago? Surely it's better to be able to resize your browser to the width that's right for you rather than have the site force you to use a certain width?

Much as I'd like this site to be ad-free, the bills have to be paid.

It's pretty wide though. On this laptop screen it's nearly 1/3 of the width and most of it is empty. Is it the profile and PM bit that's setting the width?

ETA I like the new look though.
