It's driving me mad
I have a pile of work to get through before the festival but I just can't face it!
What is it about Glastobury that makes everything else seem irrelevent and petty

This.
Work is mundane and boring at any other time, let alone 12 days before Glastonbury . . . !

I have the same problem. I've had 8 A level exams the past few weeks, and just could not concentrate. Glastonbury is the only thing i think about now.

A couple of weeks ago whilst talking to people I'd think about Glasto in every lull in conversation. Now I can't even wait until the lull, I quite often drift off while people are talking and start thinking about it.

I've spent the last week constantly on this forum and various other Glastonbury sites, and must have been busted about ten times a day........my bosses are as eager for Glasto as i am!! They might actually get some work out of me when its all over!!!!x

I would say I am generally a calm person and normally I don’t let much affect me. With any big event in the past I have just taken in my stride and not thought too much about them beforehand. But the last 2 days I have been a complete mess with excitement, anticipation and worry. I do have the added distraction of a job interview late next week also.
I just cant wait for the beer in hand, tent pitched feeling.

I finished Uni for summer in may and have nothinggg to do until glasto it's killing me! I keep putting off the big glasto shop as that's the most exciting thing to do apart from the world cup, how sad. Hurry up 12 days!

4-5 weeks ago the excitement started...... then dipped a bit.... now its in full bloody swing......
daily checking the video links to the site, e festivals, met check weather, list of what i need,
forever texting those coming with me re something glasto related
forever updating my f.book......
and just cannot be bothered with work at all.... would much rather be at home right now having a 'tent pitch' attempt... as its bloody huge........

It's not about Glastonbury, Sonar is the world's greatest festival, Glastonbury is there to cushion the fall.
