Not a fan, but with Fergie appearing on vocals for one of Slash's songs, and Will.I.Am featuring on Shakira's Hip's Don't Lie, does this further the case that they will be one of the special guests on the park?

So you might be right.

Yes. Headline Jazz.World on Sunday IIRC. Saw some on BBC after the event. f**king rubbish.

Thought so, meant to be dissapointing live

I really hope they play... IF Furby gets stuck in a whole and the guys decided that it would be a great idea to completely forget everything they have done from Elephunk onwards and do a set with track from just Behind the Front and Bridging the Gap. Would work brilliant as a warm up to Mos Def

I think Neil also thought at the time that they would be playing the Avalon stage on the Sunday which is now announced as the Keane slot.
From the quote of the N-Dubz one maybe it was just confusion on the part of N-Dubz and Fergie is playing with Slash but Black Eyed Peas aren't.

Black Eyed Peas were one of my highlights last year. Top party fun if you ask me. I had no idea they were rumoured at all, but I did have an odd dream a couple of weeks ago where they played in Shangri La and I missed them and was really annoyed. If this actually happens I will be freaked out.

I think I hear the last two songs of their set when I was going to the park after blur, sounded quite a good racket from where I was, just not my thing.

I really hope they don't play as my kids will want to see them and (apart from the shite songs), from what I have seen of them on TV at Glasto last year and the World Cup gig last night they sound godawful live.

QUOTEnope, never said that.
Fair enough, looked back now and you actually said it could be true to them being on Park on Sunday, but then people took that as confirmation of playing in the Avalon in that thread and in other threads, but I never saw it disputed. Thought it would be weird them playing the Avalon.QUOTEshe defo said BEP and not anything else.

I meant maybe the girl from N-Dubz was confused and said Black Eyed Peas, when it's just Fergie.
