I feel sorry for the folks who get no email notification of upcoming delivery and get no missed delivery card through their door.

edit:  p.s. and for those like us who do not receive what they have paid for.  Our delivery was missing our campervan ticket and See Tickets have been giving me the runaround since.

Same happened to me - thought I'd call as I'd had the "you'll soon get your email" email - and then nothing.  I was told today when I called that they'd "tried" to deliver (to my work) at 0910 over a week ago, but they could not find anyone.

What annoyed me the most was the lack of either a card or an email saying they'd tried.  If I'd waited patient-like, I'd never have known, and no doubt would have ended up in a panic in a week or so time.

Since my office is (like most offices) a place where there are people, and an obvious entry, the lack of the card and their stance that they couldn't deliver makes me question if they ever came at all.  Certainly, they have no proof they did.

Very disappointing for a service for which I had to pay extra when getting the ticket.

Lets hope the redelivery goes better!

Hmm, well I'm on my 4th failed delivery now. First email, May 28th- failed delivery, I was on holiday. Try again on the 31st, no they don't do Bank Holidays (unless it suits them looking at some people's comments), they set another date at random themselves of the 3rd June. I won't be in, so I change it to Saturday. I wait in, constantly checking the tracker- my ticket goes from being on the road to delivery not successful. Yes, I was in the whole time. So I select to collect from a collection point today. I feel hopeful when I receive both an email and text at 5.30pm yesterday to say my tickets are awaiting collection (with a very shouty you must collect on this date as part of the message). So, I've just been to the collection point. Where are my tickets you say? Well not in my grubby paws!!!

Why did they send a text and email? They can't explain. What will they do about it? Nothing, I can keep coming to the office to see.

I calmly explain that I've had enough and they need to do something, as I can just leave my office every half an hour and walk up there. I'm very lucky that the office is walkable, but that's not the point. Now they suddenly are able to call couriers who are on route to ask them when they'll arrive. They weren't able to do this on Saturday to ask if they'd actually tried to come to my address. Of course he won't divert and come to my office in the spirit of customer service, given the inconvenience they've caused me.

Can I complain on their website? It seems not, I can compliment them, but not complain. Hmmm.

Useless gets, no email, no missed-delivery card, email this morning from See saying to arrange redelivery of our tickets.  What the???

Have re-arranged for delivery for tomorrow to husband at work, I'm not holding my breath, apparently a note has been put on to ask for him (not me) and he'll have my ID, I'm the main ticket holder.  So we'll see!

They better bloody had have the campervan tickets in there as well, or I'll release the wrath of a heavily pregnant woman on their backsides!

Not happy.

What a feckin' joke DX are.  Yeah, they showed up at OHs work at the front security desk, asked for him, the security chap turns away to look up his number to call him, by the time he turns back round the van had driven off. I don't know how long the security desk took to look up OHs name, but still...

Have phoned DX and had a vent, chap on the line couldn't understand as it's piece work, so the driver won't get paid if the tickets aren't delivered.

Shower of shites.  Let's see if they're more successful tomorrow, 3rd time lucky.

Seems to me like it's mostly the drivers they've employed rather than DX being the issue.

I must admit I am starting to worry slightly  sad.gif Our tix have not arrived...

The stangest thing though I was more concrned about my sis and bruv getting their tickets as I had them sent to our parents house in a tiny one horse village in't middle of no-where in N.Ireland, they are flying over here to london on the tue of festie week and thought if DX had not sent them we would be in a little bit of trouble, but they arrived via royal mail last week and my mum signed for them no prob!! so SeeTix must use royal mail for those far of remote places!!

now just a waiting game for ours to arrive to London!! Finger X-ed!!

Don't forget to give work a copy of your ID, I think this is necessary if someone else is signing for your tickets? Anyone know if this is actually enforced?

Just had to turn my house upside down for my passport as tickets were in the other-halfs name, DX man just sat watching my tv!!!!

I got mine on the 3rd delivery, 1st one they just left a card in the garden gate lettbox, 2nd they tried to deliver to the wrong house and 3rd time lucky.

After the 1st failed delivery I complained to DX by e-mail to Glastonbury@securemail.co.uk and copied in office@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk

Received a call from a deputy manager at DX who insisted that the courier had tried to redeliver that morning but we didn't have a letterbox so he couldn't leave a card. I insisted they sent me the photo they have to take of your door if they can't deliver, it turned out to be no 90 not 94 where I live. After eventually admitting they were at fault,  he was unable to get in touch with the courier to redeliver that day so eventually he agreed to redeliver on the following day, Saturday. He promised to call me in the morning with a 2 hour time slot in which the tickets would be delivered that day. Tickets did arrive on Saturday morning at 08.50am. No call to advise of this as promised nor has there been a courtesy call from them to check everying is okay. Pretty standard thing for anyone working in customer service to do I would have hoped, obviously not DX though!

On a happier note I had a lovely e-mail back from the festival office thanking me for copying them in and I have our tickets! smile.gif

What a shambles. I got the email saying they'd been despatched, then another a few days later saying they'd tried to deliver to my work on the Sunday and I hadn't been there! Managed to re-arrange delivery easy enough, but it's a bit much asking me to be in work on a Sunday!

Anyone know what the campervan ticket is going to look like or is this being sent separately ?   So far, I have two tickets but no van....Boo.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Same happened to us.

Good luck with the See Tickets runaround automated menu system!  Don't get fobbed off by the call centre eejits when you do get through, you will have to speak to someone in their customer service department.

Took a week to sort ours out and now it's supposed to be at our local post office so off to pick it up in a minute.

Meanwhile, I'd suggest that everyone with See Tickets and DX Security issues send an email to the Glastonbury office to let them know the extent of the problems this year.

My take is that See Tickets care even less now than in the past and they've farmed out ticket delivery to the cheapest operation in the country to maximise their margins.

email to complain to: office@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk
